Tour de Ski China is the Ski Tour which invites top skiers from all over the world to compete in 5 Stages during 11 days in the best ski arenas in China. The tour is a serious challenger to Tour de Ski in Europe and a chance to experience China and its people, new places, good food and great hospitality.

The tour is a serious challenger to Tour de Ski in Europe and a chance to experience China and its people, new places, good food and great hospitality.
The tour also gives a new ski experience to athletes where they in 2008-09 have a chance to go to Xiwuqi, Inner Mongolia where people have almost never seen a person on skis before, to scenic Changchun which has become a real center for skiing and other outdoor sports over they years and in the course of cooperating with
Nordic Ways. One of the highlights of the tour is of course Vasaloppet China on Jan 2nd and the Great Banquet that the Changchun Government organizes every New Year’s Eve to celebrate the event
The tour goes on to make a middle landing in Beijing where athletes have a chance to visit the Olympic Green Area with all the Olympic arenas such as the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube, but also to go sightseeing in Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
Finishing stage will be held at mythical Shangri-la in Chinas Yunnan Province. The ski arena lies 3200 m above sea level and will be the scene for the final rounds of 500 m.
This is the second year of Tour de Ski China, and a lot of skiers had an experience for life last year: “The whole tour gave us exciting races…the chance to meet a foreign culture, a lot of helpful people, good food, many great experiences and,and,and…, “To be a part of this tour was a huge motivation for all athletes and I am sure that everyone will remember it for the rest of their lives”
