Tour De Ski China 2010 – 2011 Great Success

The 4th Tour De Ski China 2010 – 2011, with the support of FIS - the International Ski Federation and CSA - the Chinese Ski Association together with the co-organizers of Changchun and Xiwuqi Municipal Governments, National Sport Arenas and Nordic Ways came to a brilliant end. 

This 4-stage journey travelling from Xiwuqi, Inner Mongolia, Bird’s Nest Beijng and Jingyuetan National Park, Changchun, Jilin Province with two categories of Sprint and Long Distance has attracted a lot of attention.

This 4-stage journey travelling from Xiwuqi, Inner Mongolia, Bird’s Nest Beijng and Jingyuetan National Park, Changchun, Jilin Province with two categories of Sprint and Long Distance has attracted a lot of attention.

“FIS point race, worldwide professional athletes, Olympic Champions, Chinese National Team, National Sport Arena, Vasaloppet Museum,etc.” Such tags have finally announced to China, to the whole world that “A new Chinese cross-country tradition is founded!”

What a crucial and competitive race that new different faces turned being the champions for different stages. Now, the final overall placing is nailed. For Men part, Chinese skier, Xu Wenlong got the first place with the total FIS scores of 266 and Johansson Adam and Hogberg Anders both from Sweden have been ranked in 2nd and 3rd places respectively, with the scores of 206 and 205. Pretty close! For Women part, the champion was also taken by Chinese skier, Li Hongxue with the total score of 320. Eide Mari, a Norwegian skier got the 2nd place with 252 points and E Yingcui from China as well got placed in 3rd with points of 237, only 15 behind.
