The second day of China Tour de Ski in Xiwuqi, Inner Mongolia, began with the individual time trial sprint over 1.3k for men and women. Fastest qualifier was Finland’s Henri Jelonen, who was 2 seconds faster than Siim Sellis from Estonia and Magnus Frodahl from Norway. The best Chinese skier was Wei Meng in 28th place. Norway’s Anna Svendsen also had an advantage of more than 2 seconds on the number 2 female skier, Elodie Bourgeois, who already scored a podium finish yesterday in stage 1 of China TDS. China’s Li Lei scored an impressive 7th place in the heats.
