The number of confirmed elite skiers for Vasaloppet China and the overall China Tour de Ski is increasing as we are edging closer and closer to the big week. Swiss skiing star Gaudenz Flury, winner of a very tough Tour de Ski stage in Shangri La, Yunnan Province, two years ago, is coming back to China to take part in the competitions in Xiwuqi and Changchun.

Swiss skiing star Gaudenz Flury, winner of a very tough Tour de Ski stage in Shangri La, Yunnan Province, two years ago, is coming back to China to take part in the competitions in Xiwuqi and Changchun.
The 31-year-old Flury (photo right) is an excellent sprinter, and will definitely be among the top favourites for the races that take place in Inner Mongolia on 28 and 29
December. In 2010 he finished 3rd in the Swiss National Championships.
